You can disable the tools via the plugin settings page. Upload the plugin to your blog and activate 2. Visit the plugin settings to use the tools [More info on installing WP plugins](https://wordpress.org/documentation/article/manage-plugins/#installing-plugins-1) To use the database tools: 1. Visit the plugin settings page 2. Check the box to « Enable database tools » and then click « Save Changes » 3. Then click the link that says, « Open WP Database Tools » (opens new tab) After accessing the database tools page, you can either « repair » the database, or « repair and optimize » the database. **Important!** Remember to disable the database tools when you are finished using them! To disable the database tools: 1. Visit the plugin settings page 2. Uncheck the box to « Enable database tools » and then click « Save Changes » 3. Done!
