This plugin optionally connects to the following external services. All connections are only made when the site administrator has explicitly configured and enabled the relevant integration.

1. OptinAble (newsletter opt-in)
The plugin admin dashboard includes an optional form that lets the site administrator subscribe to the OptinAble newsletter. If the administrator fills in their email address and submits the form, that email address is sent to https://optinable.com/wp-json/optinable_web_api/add-email. No data is sent automatically and no visitor data is transmitted.

2. Mailchimp
When the Mailchimp integration is enabled by the site administrator, subscriber email addresses and optional tag data are sent to the Mailchimp API (https://<dc>.api.mailchimp.com/3.0/) to add or update contacts in the configured audience list. This only occurs when a visitor submits an opt-in form on the site.

3. MailerLite
When the MailerLite integration is enabled by the site administrator, subscriber email addresses are sent to the MailerLite API (https://connect.mailerlite.com/api/ or https://api.mailerlite.com/api/v2/) to add contacts to the configured group. This only occurs when a visitor submits an opt-in form on the site.

4. ActiveCampaign
When the ActiveCampaign integration is enabled by the site administrator, subscriber email addresses are sent to the ActiveCampaign API to add contacts to the configured list. This only occurs when a visitor submits an opt-in form on the site.

5. AWeber
When the AWeber integration is enabled by the site administrator, subscriber email addresses are sent to the AWeber API (https://auth.aweber.com/) to add contacts to the configured list. This only occurs when a visitor submits an opt-in form on the site.

6. Google Fonts
The plugin loads font families from the Google Fonts API (https://fonts.googleapis.com/) in two cases: (1) in the admin campaign builder, to preview fonts selected by the administrator, and (2) on the frontend, to render campaign-specific fonts chosen during campaign setup. No personal visitor data is transmitted — only the font family name is sent as part of the CSS request.

7. YouTube
If the site administrator adds a video block to a campaign and enters a YouTube URL, the plugin constructs an embed URL (https://www.youtube.com/embed/) to display the video inside the campaign. This only occurs when a YouTube video URL is explicitly added to a campaign by the administrator.

Development

The minified JavaScript files included in this plugin are generated from their respective unminified source files, which are included alongside them in the plugin package. No external build repository is required — the human-readable source is available directly within the plugin:

• admin/js/optinable-admin-custom.js → admin/js/optinable-admin-custom.min.js
• admin/js/optinable-settings-custom.js → admin/js/optinable-settings-custom.min.js

• assets/js/optin-app.js → assets/js/optin-app.min.js

Minification is done using UglifyJS. To regenerate the minified files, run:

uglifyjs source.js -o source.min.js -c -m

Third-party libraries (select2.min.js, remodal.min.js) are unmodified distributions from their respective projects and their source is available in their official repositories.
